There Ain't No Such Thing As a Free Lunch

I've been playing with the idea of taxing agendas behind a taxing server. I tried it in Niseiand RP, using Fetal AI NAPD Contract and The Future Perfect, but now New Angeles Sol and Predictive Algorithm shine a new light on the strategy.

Predictive Algorithm is a free current, which means it will be online as soon as you draw it. Along with a mix of multiple subs ICE, Midway Station Grid, TL;DR Red Herrings and Caprice Nisei the runner will spend lots of money to get into the server and if she's smart, host the agenda on Film Critic. That's what Snatch and Grab is for.

Atman 4 kicks this deck in the nuts. Have you considered a copy of 1x Lag Time to throw them off? Pitch it with overdraw or whatnot, and bring it out if needed.

@hi_impact I agree. That's why I added a Turing. Lag Time would kill the taxing strategy, but I'd like to add at least two copies of Will-o'-the-Wisp, but I don't know what to drop. Further testing will be necessary.

I played a deck very similar to this months ago. I ran it in TWIY and tried to score out as fast as possible, hence the clearances.

The number one problem the deck ran into at the time was Imp, since it bypasses both Red Herrings and Predictive. Snatch and Grab is a good response to Film Critic. It also, like you mentioned, ran into big problems vs. Atman 4, so much that I even cut the Merlins since they were dead weight and shared a slot with RSVP.

I included a little tagging + Closed Accounts suite but now with D&D I think there are many more options to explore.

@hi_impactto solve the Atman problem, I could drop the Melanges and add 2 Will-o'-the-Wisp. But I'd face a money issue. To fix it, I could replace the Caprice Nisei with Celebrity Gift, decreasing my taxing power. Maybe just letting go one RSVP and one TL;DR might help.

Been playing a Predictive Algorithm Sol since DND released. I would highly recommend dropping a TL;DR for a third News Hound. It's the best piece of ICE in the deck. Also, definitely agree with slotting 1 Lag Time. I did it myself and it typically locks your opponent's Atman 4 out late game to secure the final score.
