Titan Walls

To build this deck inspired me "Meru Wrap of Ice & Fire". With a very interesting idea to use barriers.

I decided to build a similar deck, but protected just the same barriers.

Superior Cyberwalls very well support barriers, in addition to raises the strength of each ice.

Due to the ability of Titan Transnational: Investing In Your Future, Project Atlas after score has one counter (High-Risk Investment has an additional counter), This is very useful when playing, sometimes win your game.

The deck has a few cards (Will-o'-the-Wisp, Power Shutdown), which would protect us against icebreakers as Corroder and his friends.

It's worth sticking some Destroyers in there to blow up the breakers of the unprepared. Also, no Mark Yale? He's pretty excellent with this ID

@dante77 I think the idea is their but theirs room for improvement whats to stop them just getting their barrier breaker and never playing the others they'll save money.

I personally think you should force them to get a full rig by using Wendigo and Changeling and you can easily change them to barrier once they get the breaker down.

I would play this deck with 2 copies of The Root. You can defend it early and it will boost you economy a lot while in mide-late game you can just keep installing ice or advancing ice and fire wall with it for free.

Thank you for advice. I think about that.

Amazon Industrial Zone might also be really good, since it lets you control when your barriers are rezzed and makes scoring Superior Cyberwalls better.

@FarCryFromHuman I think that's a good idea but maybe Executive Boot Camp is a better option its cheaper to res, more to trash & also a search.

@Pinkwarrior Both have their uses here. Let's compare.

Executive Boot Camp:

  • Free to rez
  • Rezzes one card in/on any server per turn
  • Rezzes any type of card
  • Can only rez already installed cards
  • Saves 1 per turn
  • Can only be triggered at the beginning of the turn
  • Can also be used to tutor an asset once
  • Costs 3 to trash, and can be trashed out from under the runner
  • Is an asset (occupies space in server)

Amazon Industrial Zone:

  • 4 to rez
  • Typically refunds its cost after first use
  • Can be used to rez any number of cards per turn
  • Can be used to rez cards on the runner's turn
  • Can only be used to rez ICE
  • Can only rez ICE on the server it is in
  • Can only rez newly installed cards
  • Saves up to 3 per use
  • Costs 2 to trash
  • Is an upgrade (does not occupy space in server)
  • Is a region (cannot be used with other regions)

TL;DR: EBC offers more flexibility and resilience for less efficiency, delayed usage and more board space (requires its own server). AIZ offers higher concentrated power and can be used more often but is restricted in its usage and needs to be used at least twice before its costs are recouped.

Do I think they are both great, and possibly even both have a place here? Absolutely. That said, with this deck's focus on rezzed ICE as a source of econ (with almost all getting the full 3 discount), and assets/upgrades that want to remain unrezzed until the runner encounters them, I think AIZ is better here. Slapping down an AIZ and two ICE onto the same server is a bigger scoring window than an EBC at the end of the turn, then a single previously installed ICE next turn.

@FarCryFromHuman You do make some excellent points & i agree that both are good here, I personally think after looking at your points and the deck that AIZ is the better for this deck if their where more Search targets and res options i feel EBC would be better but as it stands AIZ looks better.

@Pinkwarrior Thanks, I spent some time mulling over that feedback. I really wish there were likes on comments... I could use the extra deck slots!

Thanks a lot guys. Executive Boot Camp it's great idea to this deck. @FarCryFromHuman you forget about one thing. EBC it's great counter to Valencia Estevez: The Angel of Cayambe and Blackmail deck.
