Dummy Sucking - Fight Night IV

Whilst cooped up, the Belgian Netrunner group (and friends) have been playing weekly casual tournaments. As an additional deckbuilding challenge, some of us have been giving each other challenge cards to include in our decks. This week, FREDPI assigned me Counter Surveillance. I find playing tag me decks very tense and exciting, so I ported an old Ayla deck to Hoshiko.

The basic game plan is to get a God of War and Algo Trading going, protected by Dummy Box. Algo Trading is surprisingly good; 2 credits a turn is basically Bloo Moose right?! There's also a slight synergy with Hoshiko, allowing you to put credits on there instead of losing them if you're on 1-3 credits. Rogue Trading gives you extra money and tags, while Hoshiko, John Masanori, and Obelus give you card draw to set up quickly. Once you're ready to use Counter Surveillance, use an EMP Device with Devil Charm and the many counters on God of War to get in.

The deck isn't terribly quick, and can get rushed out, but builds to a game ending play. Sometimes it's worth using up an EMP Device and Devil Charm to challenge the remote, or using Counter Surveillance with relatively few tags, as the resulting Obelus draw can help you set up the next one.

Many thanks to pspacekitten and Cluster Fox for organising!

Nice deck! I made a similar build in NULL. Love the Masanori include. You could consider Trickster Taka for more tags and to pay your runs! Algo Trading seems a bit dangerous when you are tagged (many opponent decks doesn't even require the setup of WNP and DB, but that would be necessary if you go tag-me with Algo Trading). I found Boomerang to be very good for when you cannot find your Devil Charm or GoW and want to contest a server.
