NerdimusPrime 8

Based on Whip out the Wyrm, and named after the dragon (wyrm) that gnaws on the roots of Yggdrasil. I took out Plascrete Carapace (not much meat damage in my meta) and Nerve Agent, and added in London Library, Symmetrical Visage, and Djinn to fill in for the cards I don't have three of (The Personal Touch, Magnum Opus).

  • Djinn helps address memory shortages.
  • London Library for reusable Femme Fatale.
  • Symmetrical Visage for extra drip economy.

The focus is Parasite recursion and R&D lock, using Wyrm to bring ice strength to 0. Atman at 0 strength is used to break subroutines more cheaply than Wyrm does, if you run out of Parasites.

See the original decklist for more information on how to use it.

With only 4 viruses, is a single Djinn worth it? I suppose you can SMC it but that seems redundant if you have smc out you can directly get your virus. Seems like that influence would be better as 2 more datasuckers and maybe drop a personal touch

@sruman Thanks for mentioning that. I added Djinn more for memory than for virus tutoring, because during early uses of the deck I was running out of MU before (and sometimes even after) getting the Toolbox in play. I forgot that, having bought Upstalk very recently, I now have Leprechaun available for program hosting instead. It's a better choice for holding 2x SMC or MO+SMC; or maybe I just need to use my SMCs faster.

The other thing I'm still debating is R&D Interface vs. Indexing vs. The Maker's Eye. @rnark swapped his R&D Interfaces for Indexing, but I want multi-access, so I'm trying to determine a good mix of any or all of those three cards.
