Ride the Governmental Space Train

scd 190

This is definitely an untested work in progress, and is a bit of a melding of ideas I've gleaned from a few decks I've seen up here lately (most recently some of @Pyjam's Titan Space Train decks). The big question -- how can I get an Atlas train going, while also throwing a Government Takeover in there to lighten the deck's agenda weight?

A few notes:

The Glenn Station is purely in there to provide a place to hide said Government Takeover, of course, as they don't sync all that well with Titan Transnational's ability. I had Mark Yale in there in an earlier iteration, but I'm not sure I'll use him too often -- I'd rather use the agenda counters that matter to move the train along or to get a bit of money (from Geothermal Fracking). My hope is to ride the Atlas train down to a Hostile Takeover for the win. It's odd only running two Hostile Takeovers -- I've used them for ages to power up Archers, but Archer didn't make the cut for this deck.

The bulk of the influence goes to Trick of Light, with Archived Memories there to pull them back out. I considered Reclamation Order, but I figure in something that's intended to be fast, doubles are not a great idea. Constellation Protocol is an experiment, and I'm not sure how much it will be played -- the idea being to move around singleton ICE advancements to facilitate quick Tricks.

To mitigate the risk of Government Takeover, I've put in Off the Grid to drop on my scoring remote in case I need to actually try to score it. I've also got a bunch of advancable/space ice in here currently to ice up HQ heavily in that case, as well as Crisium Grid to protect against the breaker suite combo du jour, Eater/Keyhole. (As is Swordsman, which seems to be getting more play as Eater protection).

I might be overdoing the burst economy, but I suck at, uh, actually managing my economy, so there's a bit of everything in this version.

So, any ideas? What problems am I going to have with this thing?
