You need to fail a lot before you achieve Success

I finally achieved what I wanted with this deck, so I must publish it and retire it immediately.

What did I want to achieve? From the moment I saw Success I had one dream: To forfeit a 5/3, to advance a Hollywood Renovation five times, to score that and another 5/3 at the same time. From 3 points to 6 in one turn.

I knew this wouldn't be easy. As Success is a triple I needed to get both the new 5/3s on the table before I could play it. This is where our friends in HB helped out with Biotic and Shipment from Mirrormorph. But it seemed a waste to only install two cards with SfM, so what could the third be? After some thought, the penny dropped. If this whole janky mess was in Jemison that could be another agenda, and I could use its ability to place four counters on that as well. 3 points to 7 in one turn. Game on.

In my very first game with the deck (v1) all the pieces very nearly aligned but then I discovered that I needed six cards in hand to pull it off, and with juggling Government Takeover as well I needed a bigger hand size. Welcome the seldom seen Research Station.

A couple of games (with v2) later I got all the pieces in hand, but then got Employee Strike'd (that's a problem). So in came some Scarcitys to help break up the strike.

I now had the finished deck, and I just needed time. Lots of time. In the following who knows how many games I had a couple of wins with the mini-combo (forfeit a 5/3 to put 9 counters on Government Takeover, plus a Hostile before or after), but that was a little hollow. Plus a whole host of defeats.

Then, finally, today I played Noise. His viruses managed to miss the key cards, and I locked him out of HQ long enough to set-up. I scored a Hollywood Renovation first, which is the wrong way round (Graft will help you find the pieces, but you'll need the hand size first to hold them) but found the second quickly enough. Biotic was the last card to appear, but did so in due course.

And... It was underwhelming. Oh well. The important thing is it happened and I can move on. But if you want to unleash a beautiful combo without becoming an awful, awful CI player, this could be the deck for you.
