Anger Issues (Atman & ICE destruction)

Bananifier 380

The Build order for your RIG:

  • Datasucker,
  • Gordian Blade,
  • John Masanori,
  • (if needed: Cybersolution Mem Chip)
  • Atman at 3 (stimhack it!),
  • Floating memory points for SMC, Parasites, Sharpshooter and Deus X, more datasuckers.

Clone chips and SMCs should be used wisely, as there are your jokers for unknown ices mid-run. Clone chipping an SMC so that you can get your Sharpshooter on the fly will happen more often than not.

John + dirty laundry + datasucker should be enough of a pressure to force them to put an ICE on archive - and rez it. This makes Escher all the more useful.

The one-ofs

  • Escher and Utopia Shard for some HQ Pressure,
  • Tinkering seems obvious in Kit,
  • Test run is even more recursion and can get you out of a tight spot during RIG building.
  • With no killer, sharpshooter and deus x are necessary additions to the Parasite/Atman suite.
  • Kati - I dislike Kati as an economy engine as it makes you predictable and can be snatched and grabbed (plus she doesn't get along with John), but I feel like she's needed. I haven't tested with her in yet (I had one more Daily Cast).

The missing cards

  • The influence is so tight I can't even. No room for Desperado, not even for Grimoire, which would be great with parasite recursion.
  • I would love to have even a single Same Old Thing, but I'm already at 46 cards...
  • There is no diesel in this deck. This makes me so sad :(

The deck issues

The economy is very tight - you won't be able to trash too many things without bankrupting yourself. Magnum Opus is too slow for the current meta, as tutoring it leaves yourself in a bad position, but the alternative is not really all rainbows and unicorns.

The catch

This is a 'before The Source' deck for a tournament this week end, where the last data pack is unfortunately not allowed. (otherwise I would be playing Code Siphon and/or Sage). I'm still on the fence about playing this or a stealth Silhouette (a variant of Snake Eyes' Black Swan).
