I've always had a sense that HB works really well as this kind of self-sufficient, insular, defense machine. I had been playing the 'HB Brainbuster' deck for a while, but found that it's seeming slow-burn up to brutal econ strength was going underutilized in the mid game. So I decided to strip back all the efforts to flatline the runner, maintain the focus on econ, and try and use that econ to facilitate fast advances, as well as situations where you can simply buy the runner out of runs, as is the case with Viper.

Now time to test it out and see how it goes.
