Took AugustusCaesar's Takobi Ken deck, added a Debbie, 2 Bahia Bands and swapped both Pinholes for Reprises and had a blast! It even managed to beat Augustus in the last game of the day, but only because he graciously helped with the maths of running his remote server (calculating the break cost of Sandstones melts my head).
Reprise is definitely the worst card in the deck, until you hit a one pointer in R&D third click, then play it forth click to bounce the rezzed Spin Doctor back to hand and run Archives for 5 points and the win! Then you can roll around the floor giggling while your opponent goes WTF is this card.
Honestly, needs a second Earthrise Hotel as you can be clicking to draw a lot if the cards come out back to front. Not sure what to cut though.

Debbie was good. It is just another drip econ card really. Typically gets 5-9 credits a game, plus you don't feel bad about playing multiple run events the same turn. Bahia Bands can get silly when this deck is set up. Play it for free with Maemi. Get a credit from Ken, a credit on Debbie, and a charge on Twinning. Draw three, bottom one on a successful run with the class act and install from hand for one less and spending your Cezve and Paladin credits! |
Love to see the Debbie inclusion - how did it fare in the tournament? Bahia Bands are soo good in Ken too. I can see why you considered Steve. Congrats on the win!!
