Sabotage & Trash with Cash: A winning deck from a past SU

Publishing this for the memories.

This is my winning corp deck from Netbrummers Startup 2nament: It's the second one so has no real utility now that Start Up has rotated. But it’s nice to look back on my first tournament and the decks I chose to bring.

I went undefeated with both my corp and runner, both of which I’d put together myself and because I had just started playing, I thought to myself “oh my, you must have stumbled upon absolute gold here!” and consequently didn’t publish the decklists.

Oh, sweet summer child I was. Looking back, both decklists are far from well-tuned and far from original but they do say a lot about what I found exciting about the game when I first started.

This deck has a lot of hallmarks of my current deckbuilding, such as:

• It’s over the minimum deck size!
• It likes to indiscriminately trash my opponent’s cards!
• It likes to indiscriminately trash my own cards!
• The influence could probably be spent much more wisely!
• The first draft had absolutely no money and a friend had a physically sit me down and force me to put economy into the deck (thanks Zack, you’re a gem)
