Step 1: Threat Assessment (If they take the 2 tags, this is where you surprise BOOM! them).

Step 2: Slap an Aimor on a central server. Preferably Archives with a couple of Breached Dome in there.

Step 3: An Offer You Can't Refuse.

Step 4: Profit???

Silly jank aside, I don't see this card warranting deck slots in any deck besides Jinteki grinders and Skorpios, and even then I'm very hesitant to conclude that. It beats Data Mine and new Mganga in terms of gross cards trashed, which is the number grinder decks care about. However, it is more susceptible to AI breakers (1 and 1 virus counter for Aumakua for example) than the other two and AI are becoming a staple in every runner deck these days. It's unfortunate that a card that received great artwork and even better flavour text will probably not see a lot of play.

This card says "Trash Aimor.", as in "You, the Corp, must trash Aimor.". That has nothing to do with enabling Threat Assessment, because Threat Assessment asks, if the _runner_ trashed a corp card during their last turn. And An Offer You Can't Refuse also has nothing to do with enabling Threat Assessment, because Threat Assessment asks if the runner trashed a corp card during _their_ last turn, not during a run you enforced on YOUR turn. —
I think the point is you use Threat Assessment to put a card on top of the stack, and then force the runner to run Aimor using An Offer You Can't Refuse, thus trashing the card you just put on the stack rather than letting the runner draw it again. As the review says, silly jank. —
Oh, okay. Totally got that wrong. That's janky, but doable. —
Yeah I'm sure a way-less jank play would be to just use Wake-Up Call to remove that critical piece of hardware or non-virtual resource. No luck with programs though. —

For newer players joining us post-C2R who have never experienced the god that is Jackson Howard, this card joins the list of many trying to replace the Executive, but which are significantly weaker.

It's not hard to tell why a card that helps un-flood HQ deserves a slot in your deck so let's start comparing if this is the card you want doing that vs. similar cards Preemptive Action and Whampoa Reclamation.

Vs. Preemptive Action:

It's one less card to shuffle back into R&D if you're the poor sap that has 3 or more agendas in your starting hand but the advantage here is that you don't have to survive a turn with those 2 agendas in your Archives or using cards that trash from HQ like Reuse. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends as you give the runner a 2 gift instead of possibly baiting the runner to spend clicks running into your ICEd Archives. But hey! It's not a terminal, at least?

Vs. Whampoa Reclamation:

You're spending 3 more here but so is the runner to trash this if they know what's good for them. You're also going to get as many or more cards out of HQ with the added benefit of being bottom-ed. Distract the Masses' only advantage here might be saving 2 influence per slot.

Cards that reduce flood are obviously the most useful in the early game and giving 2 to the runner is a hefty tempo swing in their favour that just can't be ignored. But maybe you're rush Jinteki and you already slot x3 Medical Research Fundraiser anyways so this card seems meager in comparison. That is until you realize that a rush deck doesn't want to shuffle away agendas and a non-rush deck can't afford the tempo loss. Overall, I don't see this card replacing what Jackson alternatives we already have. Gotta give it props for the mechanics & flavour though.

This review isn't an actual analysis - I believe the other reviews sum up Kabonesa's potential quite well.

What I do want to point out is the return of the "Panda Perpetrator" (yes, I just made that term up) we first saw in Record Reconstructor and then Data Breach and that we get to see again in the spoiled card Because I Can from Kitara's 4th datapack The Devil and the Dragon.

What is the story behind Kabonesa and her animal alter-ego? Is it as black-and-white as NBN will make it out to be? And the most important question of all, when can we expect Princess Space Kitten???

I believe it was first seen in the art of Record Reconstructor. —
Man that card is so bad I totally forgot. Thank you, I have edited accordingly! —
So one thing we know about the image is that it appears on worse version of other cards... —
As long as we are offering minor corrections to what is otherwise a very good review, I would point out that Kabonesa Wu's animal calling card is a civet, not a panda. —
Another fun Wu fact is, that we've seen Wu in flavour text on Lean and Mean (and on picture). Also on DareDevil and Network Exchange —
@Sanjay My mistake, that animal was not in my diction until today! Although I have to admit, "Civet Criminal" is a bit misleading for Ms. Wu haha —

SSL Endorsement joins the short list of agendas which offer an ability (passive or active) to the corp while they're in the runner's score area (15 Minutes, Global Food Initiative, Medical Breakthrough, and yes, even Merger). However, this new 5/3 might be compared most to Corporate Sales Team for its similar drip economy (CST's 2 per round for 5 rounds vs. SSL's 3 per round for 3 rounds).

Yet, I would beg to differ that SSL Endorsement is even better given it doesn't have GFI's pip of influence or CST's lack of working in the runner's score area. In addition, the agenda lets you choose which turn you want to take the credits on which can help you recover if you're expecting to get Sipho- I mean get your funds diverted.

Overall, this is a good, if not great, 5/3 neutral agenda. Time will tell if it joins Global Food Initiative at the top in popularity. Do note that this is just another card Film Critic laughs in the face of since it will place 0 on SSL Endorsement when it moves to the runner's score area.

Just want to add that we might need clarification on 24/7 News Cycle's effect on this agenda. Being able to sacrifice a 1-pointer for 9 credits is Data Dealer all over again! —

First, is this card worth using if you don't get the full 8 discount? Maybe - especially if you have ways of avoiding the tag (a la Forger, On the Lam, and even the spoiled No One Home). But those cards all cost clicks to install already so the per-click savings you're getting have to be at least 3 per so that you're matching the full discount you get from just clicking to remove the tag regularly (save 8 , spend 2 on the tag removal for a net 6 over 2). Therefore, using Forger as the easiest example, you want a discount of at least 7 - perfect for those eyeing the spoiled Amina! :D

So let's get into what's really worth using this card on - the full list is available down below but I'll sum up which cards are must-look-at's (Sorry Security Nexus, Monolith, Mass-Driver, Morning Star):

Femme Fatale and Rachel Beckman. Yup, that's it. And the latter card insta-kills itself if you don't avoid the Credit Kiting tag. Still, surprise Femme to snipe a single gear-check remote is a nice "gotcha" moment when the corp thinks they have a scoring window. You could even Credit Kiting a Femme for a Stimhack run after getting your account closed.

All in all though, this card currently lacks the required support in-faction until a viable blue tag-me archetype appears or more expensive blue cards are released. Personally I'm of the opinion right now that the play condition isn't a problem - in fact, Criminals want to be making early-game central server runs anyways! If you're looking for per-click economy of at least 3 per , keep it simple stupid!

Full list of installable runner cards at 7 or more: EDIT: See Krams' comment above.

I think Crash Space is a pretty solid card now that Plascrete is gone. It pairs nicely with this card. —
If you're already running Crash Space regularly in your deck, I can see how including Credit Kiting isn't a bad idea. I don't think, however, that running Credit Kiting in your deck regularly warrants a deck slot just for Crash Space. —
