The Outfit: Spike or Strike?

flippityflop 36

Don't know if this deck is really anything out of the ordinary for an Outift deck as I am quite new to standard but it has had some good success on Jinteki.net so far. Not really looking to score out, but trying to create a tough decision for the runner:

  1. Steal agendas through a very taxing remote server and threaten death by Punitive Counterstrike, or
  2. Leave the remote alone and die from Neurospike.

Early strategy is icing up centrals and building some economy with Too Big to Fail and by scoring out Hostile Takeover. Use Rashida Jaheem and Spin Doctor to get one of your kill pieces (normally neurospike) and then jam out a 3 point agenda (ideally City Works Project) with a Malapert Data Vault to get your other Neurospike if not already in hand.

If the kill is off the table this deck still seems to manage to score out because the remote server is usually so taxing and with a decent start, your economy is absolutely flying even with the expensive ICE.

First published deck so please feel free to provide any feedback!

This looks pretty good to me!

The one thing I would say is that you could drop one of the Hostile Takeovers and still be at a legal 20 points - As you're main plan Isn't scoring out you are better off playing the lowest possible agenda density - The extra slot could be an extra Econ Warfare, Akhet or a Goverment Subsidy!

@Baa Ram Wu Thanks! Definitely didn't notice the extra point. Almost don't mind it as I like to mulligan for one in hand but think I will try the deck with one of your suggestions.
