Sparkboat Kit (3-1 & 3rd @ Copenhagen Startup CO)

DoubleK 787

This was my simple and fast Kit deck at the Copenhagen Startup CO where a huge turnout of 20 players surprised us all. It was great to see a mix of new players and old returning runners enjoy a day full of good games and a fun afterparty!

This deck runs a Prepaid draw & econ package, something I've played in most of my runner decks ever since System Gateway and Update were released with so many good draw & money events. It gives the deck a nice bursty tempo.

Rig setup is very fast and straightforward. Hyperbaric and Boat is your rig and with Kit's ability, gets you into most of the servers. Overclocking the Hyperbaric to a high strength always feels good and after it you don't need much credits to break ICE for the rest of the game.

Spark of Inspiration helps find the breaker and with just 3 programs in the deck, leads to funny moments as you sometimes flip through your whole deck to find a breaker from the bottom. Orca is there as a backup breaker since it's a good Inspiration target and helps charge the Boat or Twinning. Kit's ability and the Boat acts as your barrier breaker.

Win condition is big multiaccess cuts on R&D with The Twinning + Maker's Eye / Finality combo. The Prepaid package helps charge The Twinning every turn and also allows pressuring HQ.

This deck went 3-1 during the tournament, beating NEH, PD and Thule, dropping one game to Restoring Humanity where I was sitting on 5 points but Twinning+Finality and Twinning+Maker's both failed to find the winning agenda.

Massive thanks to Simon for organising a hugely successful tournament. Shoutout to @Kagolskab for playtesting and not being visibly bored when I play Prepaid VoicePAD in all my runner decks :) Last but definitely not least, thank you to all the new runners and old veterans who showed up during the day for a great day of Netrunning - let's keep the community alive!

Thanks for reading and Always Be Running!

Thanks for the amazing games! :) Seems like a really smooth and fast deck. Gonna have to try it sometime.

@Skurk4N Likewise, those were some great games. It was a pleasure running against your "just like the old days" NEH :)
