An Exploration of Throwback Format: Asa'n Asa'n City Grid

Baa Ram Wu 1843

I'm going to be posting a decklist a day looking at the interesting side of Throwback Format deckbuilding.

What is Throwback Format?? Simply put it's Standard but you can add 1 full playset of a rotated card OR play with a rotated ID - Eric aka Whiteblade is running a Charity Tournament on the 5th using this tournament! More info here - https://www.hemophiliamb.ca/events/netrunner-tournament/

Now please feel free to stick 3x Account siphon into your reg 419 or Caprice Nisei into your Jinteki Glacier but if you could just wake me up afterwards from the coma inducing slumber you have put me in due to your unimaginitve deckbuilding!!

We're into week TWO!! for number 8 in the series we have:

Asa'n Asa'n City Grid

Throwback Card: San San City Grid

Ok - so this is far less Jank than my previous creations but for those that want an actual straight up unfair deck - this pretty much ticks the boxs.

Asa + Cali testing was already a busted enough combo when put into the right deck - well imagine if that cali testing stuck around and cost you 5 to trash and the knowledge that you HAVE TO trash it, or the games basically over! Thats what you've got here, all in a modern Asa Shell.

The agenda suite is tweaked to work better with the San San's with the usual game plan being to score 4 points worth of Vitruvi' and Megaprix and then score a Vacheron either with help from lakshmi or you can fast advance one out of hand with a Jeeves and Biotic (the deck should probably have 2 biotics but a better deckbuilder than me will know where the cut comes!)

Protect your Mumba temples - They are crucial for rezzing your San San's early - 6 is a lot of cash!)
