Swiftie Battle of Wits 2015 throwback

Swiftie 254

I wrote out a script to help play the deck. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZSx3zNZOaU

When they ask what i’m doing Let me put it this way: Have you ever heard or Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Rotage? Morons

When mushin Alright, where is the agenda? The battle of wits has begun. It ends when you decide to run - and find out who is right, and who is dead.

When they don’t know what to do All you have to do is divine it from what you know of me. Am I the sort of man who would put the overwriter into play or his agenda? Now, a clever man would put the agenda into play because he would know that only a great fool would reach for what he was given. You are not a great fool so you can clearly not choose the mushined card in front of you...But I must have known you are not a great fool; you would have counted on it, so you can clearly not choose the overwriter in front of you.

A fun bit Because I comes from Aldershot. As everyone knows, Aldershot is entirely peopled with criminals. And criminals are used to having people not trust them, as I am not trusted by you. So, I can clearly not choose the mushined card in front of me. And I must have suspected you would have known amount my origin,so I can clearly not choose the card in front of me.

After they steal an agenda Truly, you have a dizzying intellect.

Trying to get me to tell them what the card is I mushined You're trying to trick me into giving away something. It won't work.

Another bit You've beaten Rotage, which means you're exceptionally fast...so I could have installed the agenda trusting that it would take more time to set up your combo, so you can clearly not choose the card in front of you. But, you've also bested me before, which means you must have studied my decks and know I like to flat line the runners...and in studying you must have learned that runners are mortal so I would have put the trap as far from yourself as possible, so I can clearly not choose the card in front of me!

When they hit the Plan B You only think I guessed wrong! That's what's so funny! I switched traps when your back was turned! Ha ha, you fool!! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in Asia; and only slightly less well known is this: Never go in against a Sicilian, when death is on the line!

The battle of wits script video - perfect !

is this a new runner i.d. ? masked hero [=> shaper / benevolent crim?]

who flatlines the corp?! (new mechanic on the way?)

cuz the corp nearly milled out the runner: "wait till I get going!"

Great stuff!
