Offer Azmari v.III

always be polite

Any time my currently favoured nonsense starts attaining (casual) winrates greater than 50% I get suspicious and concerned in no particular order. This is the latest culprit.

The basic plan is either two 3/5s some kind of 1 pointer, or 3/5, 2x 1 pointer, feed agenda and EoI. Getting the point from Offer isn't too hard, and can occur really early.

Some thoughts:

Thimblerig is MVP, letting you order ice for AOCYR or soaking up/preventing Hippo.

The tag operations used to be for tempo (Closed Accounts and Self-Growth Program). I'm not sure if EoI is really any better. Getting to 6 and playing Offer when EoI wouldn't subsequently change the game state is a stupid way to lose to your own deckbuilding.

Loses to Leela. Every time, I think. But does actually seem to have a good or at least passable matchup vs stealth, which is nice. Unless there's a big bank of Net Mercur credits the reliance on recurring credits doesn't like the off-turn AOYCR runs.

GFI doesn't honestly do much bar cover the moderately unlikely situation of the runner getting to 7 with the 15 minutes included, but I've not tried swapping it with anything else (Degree Mill? Hades?). Following in the footsteps of sensible people and losing a 3/5 to add two QPMs would also be an option to explore. I've also no idea what the unicorn might become. Singleton Surveyor? Excalibur for double AOYCR seems hubristic.

Confirmation bias reliably informs me that in 40% of games all the agendas bar 15 Minutes will have turned up by the time R&D has 20 cards left. One or two copies of an operation to prevent flooding (Special Report, Attitude Adjustment) would help, but I don't know what to cut.

The ice suite is a little odd as you're trying to avoid too many ETRs (Even conditional ones. Can't run Raven, News Hound, Pop-Up), so I've not toyed with it that much.

No Current = bad.

Then the runner does something like Atman at 6 making you panic and do stupid stuff like using Thimblerig to move Gutenbergs away from R&D.

Lastly AOYCR is a fun card, and that's what it's all about.
