Oh, right, tapwyrm

I was having a hard time getting people to virus clear once I had two turtles out. Also there were a couple mwanza matchups where I needed to keep up with credits. So, um. I'm a jerk?

There's nothing worse than having 100 virus tokens (2 50 str turtles) + 2 acacia and 10 credits. While your opponent slowly brings ice online and you're just not accessing those agendas when you want to. Once GPI is throttled you end up clicking for credits. It's pretty gross to make one run a turn when you've got a 2 50 str ai breakers.

For extra jerkiness you could add a Donut Taganes. You would need to lose 2 influence but it would be worth for it just for the look of horror.

Is only 1 Corporate "Grant" is enough against Scarcity of Resources and to restrain the corp's eco ?

LeePo, probably not. Slots are just hard with this deck. I think an argument exists for more burst econ at the front end of this deck. Even easy mark might be better in some cases. And the original version ran career fair (though this became redundant with supplier).

The good news, if there is any, is that while this is very resource heavy, the econ is all in the hardware/programs (if you neglect underworld). So, you can play through it if you have to.

If you want to deal with scarcity, I'd probably advice losing underwrold, a maxwell and potentially the supplier and going in on more burst econ events. This is likely the correct build anyways and will lead to a faster start up. Just not sure how to construct.

If you do go the event route; You can try Laguna over artist/fan site. That frees up 3 influence for something; 4 if you don't like comntaminate much, which is reasonable.

Interesting packages I have not tested: 1x Xanadu, 1x Donut, 1x Hernando (made worse by not having artist colony to fetch, but good for a shutdown deck that's running rubicon.

2x Lamprey, Again will force virus clears so that you get tons of cash, but also makes running HQ a bunch really bad for your opponent. This suggests an hq attack vector, so you may want to do it in another ID that can benefit or lose a bunch of the 1x stuff to just be a better lamprey deck. Also makes you want to run sac con/fester. You probably try to run employee strike instead of tapwyrm/grant, but maybe not. Cambridge-Lamprey is probably dumb. He probably likes Aumakua for the easy HQ access. And Acacia/LLDS regulator makes accessing HQ more reliable too.

Chakana? Legs against FA is good. You're running enough and if they clear then you just break in the "hard way" with central only from your acacia credits.

I have also previously run this type of deck out of hayley and smoke. Econ is harder, but card access is easier. Beth gives you more space to set up. Spending 9 influence here on card access, vs 9 to have the hardware & 10 to have a single AI breaker means that I think criminal is slightly better, and then rubicon is 3 more. So you have 2 influence which goes to some combination of acacia, hunting grounds & turning wheel. Which generally means you should only run 2 GPI. All of this is possible, the deck is more consistent on draws, but harder to play in general because you don't get as many fun tools.
