The M in MaxX stands for Masochist (Oslo SC, 3rd)

Jinzo 12

It's the typical, masochistic Clan Vengeance build in a MaxX-shell.

The main game plan is to get at least one Clan Vengeance on the board as early as possible, and from there on out constantly pressure the Corp with the possibility of instantly trashing their HQ at any time. Officer Frank is added to prevent the Corp. from staying under 2 cards in HQ when you have a loaded Clan Vengeance, and Fisk Investment Seminar is there to force them to draw up whether they want to or not.

Cards like D4v1d, Ice Carver and most importantly Stimhack were added so that you wouldn't automatically loose to Corp-decks rushing out as you prepare your power counters (D4v1d would probably be the first card to be removed if I were to make any changes). I would however only recommend saving these cards for remote servers, as you usually want unrezzed ice on Central Server for them sweet, sweet DDoS turns.

I picked MaxX as my ID mainly because it allowed me to quickly get my conspiracy-breaker into the heap so I could contest the quicker Corp-decks. I also felt that my deck focused more on smaller, but more frequent Clan Vengeance-triggers, in which I kept re-shuffling them, as well as other self-damage cards, back into the stack with Levy AR Lab Access for re-use. It must be noted however that just like any other MaxX deck, the cards that are milled can make or break the game. I feel that this deck gets to Clan Vengeance consistently, due to your own trashing of I've Had Worse as well as Inject, but combo cards such as DDoS, By Any Means and Fisk Investment Seminar would often end up in the heap.

Miraculously this deck did pretty damn well on my very first Store Champ, taking me all the way to 3rd place. Admittedly a couple of my victories were duo to insane luck on my side with perfect hits at the Corp's HQ, but this deck worked exactly as I had intended. This is by no definition a top-tier deck, but if you're looking for something really fun to pilot (and something that will most likely annoy the hell out of your opponent) then I would recommend to give this deck a shot. I had a blast playing it!
