FAfSA Fast Advanced Student Aid V1.5

Space Cowboy 235

Here is my more advanced version of Fast Advance ASA. I attempted to make this more fast advanced focus, yet I found I needed more ice and econ than a standard fast advance package delivers. So my changes and thoughts are as follows:

Advanced Concept Hopper for draw. It is really sweet to get this scored out of hand and start drawing whenever a runner runs.

Beanstalk and Medical Research Fundraiser for econ. I've found that ASA has a tendency to go down to 0 credits, and Beanstalk lets you jump back up to Hedge range very quickly. I've found that standard HB Assests like Adonis are targets, and without them, I've been broke quickly. Also, too many assets are hard to defend when you have FA ice, which is generally cheaper.

Calibration Testing is fun. I've once had one Cali testings installed, then biotic, install GFI and other Cali testing, adv adv adv score from hand. It is cheaper that way than triple bioticing as well.

Preemptive Action for some recursion, Scarcity of Resources to turn off Hacktivist Meeting (thanks for the tip, Beyoken!), because Hacktivist is the worst as ASA.

Thoughts?

I like it, thanks for sharing! I'd consider Green or even Ultraviolet Clearance in place of the Beanstalk Royalties, and FC3 and Ikawah in place of the GFI. I like the lean asset/upgrade/agenda package; it's very tempting to go all in on them!

@lukevanrynGreen is a good idea instead of Beanstalk. Any ideas on how to spend the two free influence? Maybe some imported midlevel ice. The few times I've played Ultraviolet Clearance with this deck, I've found I had too many cards in hand that I couldn't install, since there are a fair amount of operations and agendas in this deck. But I'll definitely contemplate it.

I decided to use Global Food Initiative instead of Ikawah simply because FC3 is expensive and ASA runs kinda poor, and runners can and will generally be able to break through all ice to get at the agenda anyway. GFI gives some protection to the corp that is harder to work around than Ikawah.

I tried your previous version of your deck. Instead of GFI why not moons for econ and draw? I slotted that in and it did well.

Why not use Moons instead of GFI? ASA and moons has great synergy. I slotted her into your old version over fairchild 3 and I did well for money and draw off it.

Lateral Growth is also a great rush econ card, similar to GLC or Beanstalk. Especially with AAL.
