Thought about using any number of Project Ares? Trashing an entire rig is good times, and NEXT can give you the space to do it.

Sorry, left off the key difference I see between Aggressive Secretary and P. Ares in a deck like this.

NEXT is all about keeping the runner the hell out of your data servers, right? So any ambush that get advanced and then just sit look mighty suspicious. Ares doesn't wait for them to come step on it, though; you fire it off when ready and watch them sob while they choose which installed programs live and which go to the heap.

Just really not a fan of giving out bad pub, and the 4/2 means even if I score the Mandatory I still can't score the Ares from hand. I find myself creating very taxing servers and a well placed install, advanced, advanced aggressive secretary ( Baiting the Priority Requisition) can leave the runner broke and with 2 pieces of rig missing. Pieces I get to pick.

A fair assessment!

I played NEXT for a long time and found that my early builds had tons of ICE but no money. Once I cut down to 23-25 ICE and put in more econ I liked it a lot better. ABT still almost always goes off for 3 and I wasn't discarding ICE I couldn't play. I like what you've got here, though, looks good.

Oooh, nice to see more all-in Ice NEXT builds. Subliminal seems like a great inclusion -- if all the runs are taxing, they'll never be in a good position to prevent you from using it, and I imagine that really adds up.

Aggressive Secretary looks great here, too -- I was playing a game recently where I'd have killed for something like that, even if it was only advanced the once.

Is Wraparound in anticipation of Overmind, or does your meta see lots of AI play? I'm curious, because I've seen so few AI Breakers other than Knight, recently, which doesn't care about it, that I'm wondering if that's just MY meta being low in them, or something else.

I find something like Gila Hands really helps out wrt keeping the money flowing if they trash Melange, is that ever an issue you run into? Most decent runners know to trash it ASAP, and while it can be made hard, it's tricky to keep it safe forever.

I still see some Atman decks and a friend of mine is desperately trying to get a paintbrush + cloak/dagger setup going. If someone burns a knight to take down wraparound, I'll take that as a huge win and replace it with another piece of ice.

Gilas are great, but I want to keep the agenda count to as low as possible. Avoiding 1 pointers for that reason. I haven't had too much issue defending melanges. When a run to trash a melange costs them 7-10 credits to get it, I'll take the credit swing and hopefully be able to counter immediately with an agenda.

Oh, right, Paintbrush, yeah. That makes sense.

I'm very excited to see this list, it looks like so much fun. I hope it does well for you!
