Heraclitus: You Definitely Step in the Same River Twice (TD)

"You do not step in the same river twice."

If you're like me and love the flavor text filled in this game you'll have learned by now that Sage, Savant, and Adept all contain quotes by [my favorite] Pre-Socratic philosopher Heraclitus, who saw the world as ever changing, a constant state of flux. Unlike his afformentioned quote you will find this deck is about event recursion through Déjà Vu, The Shadow Net, and multiple event copies, proving you indeed will step in the same river twice.

Terminal Directive Campaign Deck

Pretty straight forward, though most TD campaign decks are. Built using the recommended 1 Core build.

NVRAM should prioritize your programs/breakers (except Magnum Opus) and then Account Siphon, Deep Data Mining, and Stimhack. I try to put one Adept and/or one Delgado, and then a suite of run events in NVRAM.

3 Dhegdheer, one for a Savant, one for a Adept, and one for a Magnum Opus. I rarely found it necessary to install Magnum Opus between the Armitage Codebusting, Sure Gamble, Account Siphon, Stimhack, and recurring credits from Cyberfeeder and The Toolbox. The Modded's seemed to always quickly go towards Savant/Adept/The Toolbox before Magnum Opus ever hit the hand. The deck works primarily around credit incraments of 2 so Armitage Codebusting and Magnum Opus work well.

With your whole rig out Savant and Adept sit at strength 11 and 12 respectively (AND 4 Link!!!). The reason I love these breakers is because it makes Akamatsu Mem Chip into a super The Personal Touch and becomes a step up from Shaper's "increase strength until end of the run."

The LLDS Memory Diamond work double for this deck because they increase the strength of Savant and Adept AND give a safety buffer for when you start to slam down the Stimhack. I could have included an additional LLDS Memory Diamond but I found I both didn't need the additional strength on my breakers, and having a 4 card hand size after using 3 Stimhack was never cumbersome. Especially since by the time you have used all of your Stimhack you will have seen the majority of your deck.

When you start the campaign I recommend subbing out The Maker's Eye with the Delgado's because Deep Data Mining will yield greater results. Turn 1 click 1 Deep Data Mining on an unguarded R&D will almost always get you an agenda. Also, if you're fighting Skorpios Defense Systems: Persuasive Power and find most of your run events removed from game I would recommend switching Déjà Vu for a Crash Space because it saves you credits on Account Siphon tags, provides some meat damage shield (which the increased hand size also does), and continues the recurring credit theme (which personally, appeals to my OCD).

Another alternative is to switch Déjà Vu for two Datasucker because the only way to surmount the Heraclitian might of your 11 and 12 strength Savant/Adept is an Ice Wall, Shadow, Hadrian's Wall, and Colossus with advancement counters on them. My only gripe with doing this is that you lose an additional strength on each icebreaker for installing a Datasucker (unless you put it on the Dhegdheer instead of Magnum Opus) and you will have to run at least twice to start making the Datasucker count.

This was my first published deck so I apologize if I overused hyperlinks and for mentioning the name of a campaign card (if that's taboo).

Hope you like!
