Wyldsahasrara Vampleak Reversal

partialcharge 178

This is a retooled version of my earlier Vampstone deck based on feedback from the inimitable Dydra and the illimitable lolpaca.

The goal? Mill, baby. Mill. Noise's ability gets you started. When able, vamp them down to zero and drop a Data Leak Reversal. Then just start milling. Mill, mill, mill. The Self-Modifying code is there to tutor out the Djinn, which is so very critical to a deck wanting to install so many programs at once. In a pinch you could also grab a needed breaker.

As per Dydra's suggestions, let Wyldisde bring you a flood of cards that Sahasrara helps you install.

Things I'd like to include but can't seem to justify are a third Medium, 1-2 Demolition Runs, a single Pawnshop, and 2-3 Fall Guys to protect the DLR. Suggested replacements? Maybe with Wyldside it's OK to run a little fat?

Also, I feel this deck has a major weakness against program-trashing sentries. There's so little facecheck protection, and it's so program dependent. Any way to ameliorate that?

Not sure if you need the SMC. The Djinn's are good to have but with all the viruses lurking about and the Wyldside draw engine you have going on I don't think you need it to draw into them. That would free up some room for a pair of Fall Guys.

I thought that, too, but I just feel really crippled until I get my first Djinn. Maybe I need to adjust my attitude instead of the deck, though. ;)

Awawawaw .... This deck tries to do too much , Sahasrara + Wyldside + Data Leak + Vamp + Chakana ...

When I talked to you about the Wyldside + Sahasrara + Pawnshop, I meant to try it out in its own deck, rather than to smash it on top of your Vampstone (with a bunch of mushrooms and garlic!) ;) I will make a deck tonight, or tomorrow, with the way how I play it.

If I ever play a DLR Noise ( and I think I will at some point), I'd play him with Account Siphons and Jushua B. +/- John Masanori for the extra click and easier self-tag.

The Chakana, although nice, I don't feel it's simple as just to throw it there, so you have it ;) I'd play Chakana with Grimoire and Surge, so when I install it I can surge and immediately slow them by 1 advance.

A huge problem I see your deck having is actually landing the Vamps ... which are your only self-tag option and you need that for the DLR.

Also let me describe to you how your turn will go around mid game

auto-click(0) - Wyldside - draw 2 cards

1) click, install a virus

2) click, install a virus

3) click, get some economy

Where in here you see a window to go run them/vamp put DLR and use it, before they trash it in their next turn (or the turn after that if you have Fall guys) ;)

If we assume that u run and install DLR that means you are in your last click ... and you mill them for 1 card? Better to install a virus and have 2 more clicks ;) Do you see what I mean?

Yeah, the focus is split pretty hard. Going down to 2x Vamp/DLR is a pretty clear sign. I still think it was a valuable exercise to try to mash them up and see what happened. For me, at least. I'll twiddle it some more and see what comes out of me old noggin' tomorrow. As always, appreciate the input. =)

Cheers, PC
