Random Tenmorrhage (RandomNet #3 1st Place)

Haberdash 15

Came first in the 3rd RandomNet random ID jank tournament in Stourbridge, undefeated over 3 rounds. I believe Jonny will be uploading videos from the tournament, including one round with my decks.

Thanks go to @ivanbarker whose deck inspired this one. Shamefully, that deck is probably significantly jankier than this one, but a lot of good cards have come out between then and now!

My corp was the 10th place Tennin deck from worlds 2 years ago, with the Grims swapped for Assassins. I'm not sure if I missed the point or if 2 years is just old enough.

Hi @Haberdash! I just stumbled into this thread. Thanks so much for giving my old deck a try. I'm glad it worked well for you!

I haven't played for a while, not since the new cycle came out, with all those fancy new cards. However, I did update my deck a bit though, but I haven't tried it. I arrived to many of the same conclusions as you, and a bunch of cards are ones you've included here, like Paperclip, Temüjin Contract and The Turning Wheel.

A couple things I've added in are:

On the Lam

Interdiction

Sports Hopper

Because I'm using Sports Hopper I put in ZU.13 Key Master, in the off chance of having zero MU for it. That also freed up some cards.

Card draw is still annoying, but I have 2 Symmetrical Visage in there, and the Sports Hopper. You could swap the Symmetrical Visage for John Masanori, but I always found the tag from Johnny boy not too great.

Let me know if you update your deck at all! Would love to see your ideas! Thanks for giving my deck a try!

I've found avoiding triggering John isn't a problem as long as you have money and breakers, though sometimes you do need to work pretty hard for one or the other of those. I feel like not having him slows down the deck a ton, you need to run for your money anyway and a free draw every turn seems pretty massive in criminal. It seems like if you can't make a decent profit from run-based economy you're going to have a lot of trouble in general, so I went with maximising the benefits rather than hedging in cases where I can't make it work.

The first thing I did after this version was to swap The Turning Wheel for Employee Strike. After that I tried putting in a bunch of cutlery instead of Hemorrhage. I've been seeing a lot of CVS lately but I really missed the effect Hemorrhage has on the game.
