Creation & Control era Deckbuilding Challenge

Variations on a Theme (2/3): Rush

Since Genesis and Spin are cycling out soon, we thought we'd take a trip down memory lane and build some "classic" decks. The challenge is to create and play with decks that were built using cards up to and including Creation and Control. Forget MWL limitations since that's intended for a different meta that what this deck would face.

About the deck itself: This is my HB Rush deck. Unlike a traditional glacier I eschew a lot of big ICE for lost of smaller ETR pieces. Sadly the meta won't see Rainbow, Paper Wall, and Quandary for some time, but we've got Eli 1.0, Ice Wall, Datapike, and Wall of Static. My design intent is to find a middle ground between the Fast Advance and Glacier archetypes.

I've tried to keep the rez cost of ICE under 4, which means that I typically have enough credits to rez two pieces of ICE per turn if I'm being smart. Exceptionally, I have Heimdall 1.0 and Tollbooth since both of those will continue to be heavily taxing into the late game. I try to always end my turn with 4-8 credits, and if possible I like to keep an unrezzed Adonis protected by a Wall of Static or Eli to deal with Account Siphon.

Neural Katana is a signature of this deck. It's unexpected, and the runner doesn't usually want to draw before making a run on this deck since they want to use clicks to break bioroids. If the runner takes 2 or three turns prepping for a run, I'm winning.
