My First Noise Deck - Viruses, Viruses, Viruses!

Critical Brian 52

I've played Noise core half a dozen times and now want to stretch my wings - trying to rush and virus-mill the Corp, while still able to makes runs where needed. Feedback welcome!

EDIT: This deck was made as part of our ongoing Netrunner podcast series - the first episode can be found on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9noalvychM or on Soundcloud at https://soundcloud.com/criticaltwits/44-netrunner-for-noobs-1-our-run-begins

This is a interesting shot for a first noise deck: many starting players go all in on the 'install all the viruses' plan and forget to have things that actually let them run! Well done on avoid that.

I dunno what cards you have available but day job and armitage actually go counter to what noise wants to do - install viruses and pressure all servers. Economy that takes a lot of clicks uses up clicks you'll need to draw and install viruses, day job is something you'll use in MaxX who has passive draw power. You might want to look at stuff like aesop's pawnshop and daily casts that give you money more slowly but do not cost clicks.

On specific cards - Darwin and Hivemind are late game combo cards, you don't actually need multiple copies of them as you can get them with Djinn and Deja Vu no problem. The turning wheel is a good card but as an anarch you have medium and nerve agent in faction, I'd drop them for clickless money and card draw using your spare influence.

@DisThank you for the feedback - it's really appreciated! I'll definitely fiddle with the economy. I think I've overshot because my first few games (with just core Noise) I never felt I had much money so I went straight for the big gun in Day Job!

Thanks again!
