Who The Hell Cares About Civil Casualties

Weyland Consortium

Building you a better world

On cinders of old.

The goal is simple - set up your econ, build a tough server (if possible, destroy some of the Runner's programs by making him bump into ICE he couldn't break - Wormhole appears to help a lot), break out your guns, flamethrowers, napalm bombs and low-orbit ion cannons, then smirk viciously as they watch their stack crumple to ashes, torn between running and getting some boot to the head or not running and seeing their hometown reduced to embers.

Once the amount of collateral damage satisfies the needs of proper execution of your corporate policy (i. e. the Runner is left with no possibilities to speak of), deliver the final blow - either hire a hitman, Molly Millions/Sally Shears or a news agency, then send in your troops, or rig their hole with explosives, or any combination of the above. Nothing funnier than hitting a defenseless target, after all.

Or, if you are feeling generous, just advance your agendas and win the game peacefully.

They have nowhere to go anyways.

Does it work? Sometimes it does. Haven't played enough to tell for sure, but results gathered from casual play are promising. That's the less important question.

The more important one: is it any fun?

On that, there is one answer I could possibly give you.

Hell yeah.

"Some people have rigged the enemy base with explosives. Albert has." Tell me you've seen this before.
