Faust Noise Runs Amok

This is my current Faust Noise deck. I took 2nd in a field of 26 at a local SC, only held back by my NEH play.

It's a pretty standard Faust Noise deck. I run 2x Trope for glacier and PE match-ups. It's pretty nice recursion, since you get only the cards you need to finish out the match. 3x Déjà Vu is a good place to start.

Most ICE can be managed by either Parasite or D4v1d, for everything else there's Faust. Corroder and Mimic still do a bit of work, but are mostly included to deal with Wraparound and Komainu. Swordsman could be a pain too, but I just don't see it often enough to be worried.

My real preferred means of managing ICE is to convince the corp to never rez it. I often leave the scoring remote uncontested until I'm sure the corp has an agenda in it, then I push Run Amok on click 1. The corp is in a tough spot against Faust + D4v1d, since you can break anything pretty easily. So if they rez good ICE, you can bounce off and trash the ICE, if they rez a small piece of ICE, then continue through and look for something better to trash. Most of the time the corp will not rez, and you will steal an agenda for 3c. The important thing is that you need to be able to actually break any damaging or taxing ICE that may pop up, and threaten a repeat run if a very challenging piece of ICE is rezzed.

I cut my 3rd Parasite for Hades Shard. This has worked well for me, since my game plan has been to steal my first 4-5 points on central pressure and Run Amok on remotes. I just install the Hades Shard from hand and fire it immediately before the corp has any window to use Jackson. This usually nets me my last few point, and frankly could probably have ended several games much earlier. This was a standard move for a very long time in Noise, but seems to have fallen out of favor lately as all but 1 corp has been surprised by it.
