Fables

The Panchatantra are a collection of Indian fables, hence the name. This is completely untested, and we don't have enough completely untested decks on Netrunnerdb!

The idea here is simple — since Rielle "Kit" Peddler: Transhuman is making, typically, one impactful run per turn, use Panchatantra as a means to make sure she gets through the ICE beyond that first (code-gated) piece of ICE. Torch will, of course, blast her through the first ICE she encounters, and then some combination of Sharpshooter, Deus X (I'm still not sold on this one here), and Gingerbread will handle the rest.

My thinking here is that Stimshop nonsense helps to get everything set up relatively quickly, Same Old Things recur the Stimhacks, but also the singleton Legwork, the Indexing, and the requisite one-of Escher.

But, as with most Shapers, R&D lock is where it's at, so rock those R&D Interfaces. A Bookmark in case you're facing a kill deck. And Magnum Opus econ because, why not? (Akamatsus because, well, MU is why not).

Anyway. Will it work? Will anything work? Will this just be a dumb fable?

I think you need a couple Public Sympathys or the like if you are relying so heavily on Stimhacks.

Nah, that's no fun.

7 seems a little tight when you are facing down a 3-4 ice server. I figure you want Magnum Opus, Torch, Gingerbread, and maybe 2 Panchatantra installed, and that's already 6. You don't have much more room for SMC and your disposable breakers. CyberSolutions Mem Chip might be better here, as you can cook them on your Personal Workshop so they have minimal impact anyway. Plus then you can potentially run a single Paintbrush...

Yeah, might as well try the CyberSolutions Mem Chip, I like that. In the past with Stimshop decks, I've run Box-E and maybe it's worth finding the influence for that here as well. I'm loathe to cut Clone Chips, but I could swap those out for Box-Es, the Akamatsu Mem Chip for CyberSolutions Mem Chips and maybe throw in a Test Run or two?

I think Astrolabe provides you with some pretty critical draw, but if you find you don't need it Box-E makes a lot of sense. The Clone Chips also seem like they would pull a lot of weight here. I think just switching the chips out will give you the you need.

BTW, I think you'll find you are really happy to have Deus X the first time you run into someone playing Ronin and Dedication Ceremony. shudders
