HB: click suppression deck v2.0

Potentially giving up 4 agenda points with Vicki Jenkins.

I run Strongbox instead, which lets you get a third Troll if you drop VJ.

1 click to run, + 1 click for Ruhr Valley, + 1 click for Enhanced Login Protocol. Hit with 1 Troll and they don't have the extra click to get through the Strongbox.

I wonder if the Off the Grid + Crisium Grid combo would work here. You'd need to twiddle the influence, but they would have to run HQ to trash Crisium Grid... if you've got Victoria Jenkins, Ronald Five and Enhanced Login Protocol in play, that takes their entire turn. Any two of them is pretty much a soft lock.

@dasher Yeah it's a gamble on using Vicky I agree, especially since her influence is at 5 each, but my thinking was that if I get her way to early I can dump her in the trash witch makes her useless to the runner till I can bring her back with a jackson or architect. Or if they get her on r&d dig I can have heinlein grid on on the root so they can't afore to trash her.

Well Vicky Also has the lasting effect of -1 click per turn and with ELP out, running on a Ruhr valley server is now a big decision for the runner as it takes their entire turn to run 1 server and it may only be an unrezzed haas arcology AI or GRNDL refinery. It means they have to decide to spend 3 clicks running or use those 3 clicks for playing or using resources, playing breakers, or drawing cards. Plus if they run they can't just click though ICE and and may get seriously stopped along the way. So they may just play it a bit safe witch just give me more and more time to set up and score.

Where is the econ? I'm only a seeing x3 Hedge Fund, an Eve and a GRNDL

@PeterCapObvious that's it. So few Econ makes me nervous as will. The 2 assets ar pretty big ones and can do some serious work. Also can be brought back by Jackson if needs be. I have thought about removing the biotic labor and 1 of the haas arcology AIs for more Econ but I will have to test that out. But with the tempo of the runner thorn off and making chooses to spend a whole turn for 1 access or install/ draw/ make money the corp will have plenty of time to click for credits or set some of the few economic in the deck.

swap one vicky for an executive boot camp. You can use it to fetch her so it's like having another one in the deck, but you don't risk giving up 4 points with her, and it costs 4 inf less

Another thing to note is that I don't think Heinlein Grid works with Ruhr Valley and Enhanced Login Protocol.

The text on Heinlein states that the click has to be spent during the run. The click taxes for Ruhr and ELP are to start the run and don't count as occurring during the run.

@dasher yeah heinlein grid and Ruhr valley are both regions and can't go on the same server. And once you have a lock on ELP and Vicky being out rhur valley dosent really do much cause they just don't really have the clicks to trigger it, but the though behind it was that before you can establish that bit of lengthy set up to lock the runner down, was that you get it on r&d ( my meta is big on multi r&d dig for points) or a scoring server so the runner doesn't want to hit those servers over and over buying you some time. And if they do now they are broke so they have to spend time getting Econ flowing again and wasting more time so you can get online easier.

I would also see if you can find room for ryon knight. It works really well with your overall strategy, keeping the runners options limited

Also I would strongly suggest swapping Ruhr/heinlein for strongbox.

@cdwolstenholme Intact I had ryon knight in at one point but he got cut cause I was desperate to find room for Econ. And strong box was in as well. The more I think about it and the more people make suggestions, This may end up being one of those rare decks where going over the normal 49 cards could work to my advantage. That would get me some more Econ, ryon knight and some strong boxes as well. ( just a thought. Haven't been at this Netrunner thing very long. Lol)
