Ad-Block's Nemesis

Xandorius 1506

This has been my favourite Corporation deck since I started playing. This is the revised version to make it MWL compatible.

The core of the deck is centered around the agenda suite. 9 agendas where you need 3 to win but the runner needs 4. One of those agendas you can take back, so unless it's match point, the runner is looking for 4 out of 8 agendas. That's a nice low density which relieves some pressure on R&D. It also reduces Agenda flood, allowing you to use the Jackson Howard for his other uses.

To help with the Glacier approach needed to support Global Food Initiative, this deck packs a solid 23 cards that make you money in some way. 12 different campaigns leads to an asset spam approach, but typically putting Adonis Campaign or Launch Campaign in your scoring server between scoring windows works better.

I picked Sweeps Week over Hedge Fund because as a turn 1 play they're the same, and frequently are the same anyway. Sometimes you can get lucky when the runner has hands over 5 too, which is a nice bonus. Finally, Sweeps Week only costs 1 to play, which is a great low bar to use.

Targeted Marketing is fantastic and has a dual effect. Making 10c is great, but better is preventing the runner from using the named card for awhile. A lot of people will try to avoid giving you the money, so if this prevents them from installing a breaker then that can open up a nice scoring window on its own.

Product Placement is nice in Spark Agency: Worldswide Reach because it's a 0 rez card that can trigger your ID. Also putting it beside a Campaign will ensure that you make some money if the runner goes to trash it.

The ICE suite is pretty typical I think. Markus 1.0 is a replacement for Eli 1.0 post MWL. There could potentially be a better use of the 1 influence. The rest of the ICE is meant to keep the runner out early with the cheaper ETR, and the make a taxing server with the expensive pieces.

Archangel in front of a Tollbooth can be very expensive for Zu, and difficult for Yog's sucker tokens.

Assassin is basically a sentry gear check, and can come as a bit of a surprise if the runner starts to think that you don't have any sentries.

Typically this deck plays out by rezzing an ad turn 1, which slows down the runner's first turn if they want to Sure Gamble. From there, begin setting up a glacier and make money. If they don't trash the Campaigns, then that money will allow you to FA off of SanSan City Grid. Otherwise, bluff assets as agendas to create windows.

Cards that make this deck sad are usually D4V1D and Imp. The former lets them get through ICE that should be more taxing, and the latter can trash stuff that should be expensive to trash - or toss your ICE that you'd like to keep. They have a limited number of tokens though, so I usually try to get them to spend them as quickly as possible, and then recover with Interns or Jackson Howard.
