Runner Repression Division

Lemonbrick 170

Took this little number to my local GNK on Sunday, had a blast and didn't drop a game. Its a lot of fun to play to.

Essentially you control your agendas with Jackson and Allele Repression until you feed them just enough points to hang themselves with Punitive, although I have scored out vs increasingly paranoid runners....

Cards: Back Channels - great card for trap decks , makes an over advanced Cerebral Overwriter into a massive money boost

Allele Repression - Over looked card in some decks I think, it can be trashed at any point, it can recur itself.

Pad Campaigns - great for either keeping you rich or the runner poor as (s)he trashes them

Shattered Remains - for Plascrete

Punitive Counterstrike and Mushin No Shin are the core of the deck for placing big bluffs / agendas and finishing the runner off

Currently Film Critic is an issue for the deck I would probably swap the Shi Kyu for snatch and grab.

First of all, love, love, love the idea. Come-into-my-castle Nisei Division is something I really like, and I love what you've done with it. Mushin on Vanity Project is beautiful.

I agree that Snatch and Grab is a good switch-out for Shi.Kyu. Not sure why that's in there in the first place... ^^

Also, how has Bullfrog been for you? What is the plan with it? I'd probably switch it out for some anklebiter ICE like Yagura or Pup, maybe?

To be honest Bullfrog has never fired, it pleases me to watch runners burn credits on it... Yagura would be a good swap if its your preference, in fact all the ice could be swapped, but Crick and Snowflake are hard to beat for there rez cost

I agree that Shi.Kyu is the wrong call in a deck with Vanity Projects, since two VPs is eight points, letting you win even with a -1 loss.

What I'm wondering is the lack of Psychic Fields. It's a Psi game, which Nisei likes, and if it fires it makes the double neural EMP kill possible.

I'm sorry, but Bullfrog is just a bad card. Worst case scenario for the runner is they get moved to a different server, at which point they jack out and run the other server...which now has one fewer piece of ice. And it's only strength four, which means it's just one Datasucker token away from being Yogable.

On that note, why is Caprice in this deck? The advantage of Caprice is making them pay their way into an expensive scoring remote twice. This deck doesn't have enough ice to make a taxing remote.

I think the core idea of this deck (TFP/Vanity + Mushin+ traps+ Punitive/Neural EMP+back channels) is a viable concept but this deck needs some work.

Also, I think that the "derived from" section is misleading. The core strategy of Little Garden is Cerebral Casts+Scorched Earth, with a glacier backup, which in entirely different. The ID is literally the only thing in common here. Give yourself some credit, this is an original deck.

Caprice Nisei provides some protection vs Account Siphon and Keyhole I really don't need 3 now you mention it. Bullfrog should be replaced probably with Yagura. I will try the Psychic Field + emp kill next session, it did not occur to me for some reason - but its a great call. Not sure where the derived from field comes from this is the first deck I have ever published ;)

I'm guessing you started building this deck by hitting "copy" on Little Garden? I think that would automatically populate it. You should be able to remove it by hitting the "edit" button near the top of the screen.

Alsome deck. I cannot beat :)

How about kitsune? Could be hilarious to fire it into a vanity project..

@sodapopinski not if the runner already has an agenda, or you don't have a Punitive in hand.

Kitsune might be worth testing, I tried Psychic Field today and so far not my cup of tea, a Cerebral Cast might be better. I might try Cortex Lock in place of Clairvoyant Monitor. more testing and suggestions needed.

I particularly like Lockdown instead of Bullfrog, because its super cheap and works well with Punitive.
