Will you pass the Turing test? - Italian Nationals 3rd Place

moonwalker 141

This is the deck I brought to the Italian Nationals - 59 player, 6 swiss rounds and a top 8 cut. This deck went 4 - 2 in the swiss, losing a game to a very aggressive Tenma and another to Noise, while the top was 1 - 1, losing to a Noise deck with Faust.

This deck is a modification of the deck that won the Nordic National Championship (http://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/25094/hb-webz-nordic-national-championship-1st-place-) and I made it even more "rushy" with the removal of Tollbooth and the addition of Lotus Field and Wraparound. I also switched @Blue Level Clearance to #Green Level Clearance to be able to install upgrade+agenda or ice+agenda in a remote in the same turn.

I anticipated a meta where Noise + Faust would be the scariest threat, and this deck beat the archetype twice thanks to a double Turing on the remote. I lost when I was not drawing enough agendas to score fast and keep up with the mills.

Will-o'-the-Wisp was a choice against Criminals, but in the end the tempo loss of rezzing this card hurt me as much as them: it should have been an economic operation like Restructure to strengthen the rush theme of this deck. For the same reason, Archived Memories should have been a Fast Track, to retrieve an agenda at the most critical time.
