Still killing in the name (of HB)

Lastet version of my HB killing deck. After some playtesting I have to say it isn't nearly competitive, it can be countered with a good RnD lock fairly easy, but it's highly fun to play. That look on the face when getting out a turn 1 Mushin Cerebral Overwriter. Or could it be a Self-Destruct Chip?

Forget the stupid bidding mechanics, these are the real psygames.

Archived Memories won me the game couple of times, just get back an Overwriter or a Junebug and mushin your next agenda. Cortex Lock didn't perform at all, so I got rid of it. Same goes with Valley Grid. You want to kill, not temporary reduce handsize. Punitive is so much fun here.

And Shell Corp is the answer for not unlit traps.

Biggest problem: My turns often look like draw, shell corp, money. Because this deck only counter reacts.

I had a very similar deck that just seemed to stall out with the Runner only stealing 1 or 3 points a turn & me with only a single Punitive in hand or them slowly getting to 6 points over a couple runs & Punitive being worthless.

I dropped Punitive and put in Edge of the World. Runners don't fear it because it isn't advanced, like Junebug or Overwriter - then BAM! ;P

How do you find the econ in this deck? My version of this ID has more econ, but I can never seem to get it out, so I am always poor. As a result I am finding it a tough deck to play.

I don't have econ problems, because I often Mushin a CO early game. If they run it, the game is over to soon to have econ problems, if they don't I have a Kati myself for plenty of creds. My turns often look like "draw, shell corp. install/click for money".

But to be honest, I'm not totally sold on this deck.

I wish I had half your luck.

I have successfully got the Runner to hit a Mushin-ed Cerebral early a few times, but they have still managed to sneak a win somehow.

It has always been a case of not being able to land the killing blow, as following the Cerebral it has been a flood of ICE and a drought of econ... or the other way around. As a result, I either have no ICE to protect an agenda, or no money to rez the ICE protecting the agenda.

I haven't been able to land a single Punitive yet. Its in my deck, but I have not actually played it, as I have never had the funds to get it to fire.
