Diversify your bonds, and shit.

This is the latest version of a Blue Sun deck I've been playing for a while. Some of it is pretty standard: Space ICE, Curtain Wall, Tollbooth and OAI are all one big, happy family. Adonis Campaigns have that wonderful synergy with Blue Sun's ability. J-How is J-How. Crisium stops Eater and Account Siphon shenanigans. Housekeeping is straight up annoying for the runner to deal with. An Archived Memories is thrown in to be whatever you want it to be (A 4th Punitive or OAI, a clutch Hedge Fund, a way to save your last J-How).

I've included a few new tricks. The lower cost ICE suite really helps with the early game. Meru Mati is straight up amazing on HQ. Taxing and cheap to rez. Datapike and Enigma hold the fort down and tax the runner. They install a decoder? Great! Keep taxing. They install Yog? Get you money back! And Fire Wall holds down the midrange pretty admirably with Mother Goddess. Mother Goddess can also be used for some desperation plays.

And then there is Valley Grid. This is the game changer for me. I ran Punitive in Blue Sun for a long time. It was strong, but fell pretty hard once a Plascrete was out. Valley is your insurance plan and run deterrent. Put this on your scoring server. Make the server deep (3-4). If the runner doesn't have Plascrete or extra hand size, it now takes a single Punitive to flatline from a 3 pointer. If they have one Plascrete out, a 4 deep server will STILL let you flatline from a 3 pointer with double Punitive. Punitive not looking like an option? Congratulations, you are still playing Blue Sun, you will be filthy rich and your servers will be taxing as all hell. There will be scoring windows.

For Agendas, High-Risk Investment is key key key. It lets you outpace the runner in economy no matter what. Score one early and it's really, really hard to lose. The Cleaners also helps make Valley Grid and Punitive hit just that much harder. Hades Fragment will help in a prolonged game, and a long Atlas is in there to be a way to quick score to end the game.

I haven't taken this to a tournament yet. I'll see how it does in regionals, if I have the time to go. If not, take my word that it is doing pretty well on OCTGN for now.

Wu-Tang Clan aint nothin to fuck with.
