Core NBN

R2-DTAT 19

These decks are created to test a concept that the core set is still competitive. Of course, I felt that adding cards from other sets would only serve to make the deck stronger, but I still wanted it to be kept mostly core set. I allowed more "influence" from other sets in corp because of a bigger deck size, and Jacksons were just too good to not include in any case.

Building the corp side was different since I felt that the runner side mixes together and you essentially are looking for the greatest efficiency for breaking ICE. The separate identities do have their own uniqueness to them that breeds a niche style of attacking, but it always boils down to your breakers and econ.

For the corp, there were 4 different archetypes that stood out to me: Fast Advance, Glacier, Tagging, and Flatline. NBN was Fast Advance/Tagging, Weyland was Glacier/Tagging, Jinteki was Flatline, and HB was Glacier.

I decided to build an NBN fast advance and a Weyland Glacier type build because PE is PE and I felt Weyland was better at keeping its economy over HB. Plus, I'm not a big fan of the ice you can click through, even though Ichi is great.
