NEH Tannery - 3rd Place Raleigh Store Championships 2015

I don't recall if this is the exact list, but you should get the idea...

In general, this is a Fast Advance NEH deck, that uses its influence for Dedicated Response Team, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat when a runner hits a TGTBT with 2+ DRT rezzed. You can call it Butcher Shop, except it doesn't have the requisite Operation-based kills. So maybe a Tannery?

The main idea is to eat away at the Runner's economy, using Manhunt, Data Raven to apply tags, and DRT to punish them for running without slowing down and clearing them. Or to force them to spend even more money and time trashing DRT instead of scoring agendas or trashing Daily Business Show or my economy assets.

Naked NAPD Contract is a fine play, forcing the runner to spend + 4 to get 2 points, and if I have a Manhunt up, even more money to dodge the Tag/DRT. That's the sort of game this deck plays. Punishing runners for running with econ drain and occasional meat damage, and punishing them for not running by scoring agendas out of hand and developing a truly impressive board.

I must have dropped a game, but I don't remember what specifically beat me. I played this deck once in Elimination, forced to use my weaker runner twice and lost twice to end my tournament run.

I would expect to need Blacklist or Cyberdex Virus Suite to deal with Clot if I were to run this again, and I think a PAD or DBS might get cut for it?

I would cut Marked Accounts but not DBS or PAD Campaign

@Cryoclasm Thanks for the comment. The reason I'd want to cut one of those two is as follows:

Since I'm putting in an Asset/Upgrade, I want to cut one. I'm not cutting SanSan, Jackson, or DRT. That leaves DBS, PAD, or Marked Accounts. The strategy of the deck leans on forcing the Runner to have either little money, or let my economy grow huge. Yet, I still need to operate at a low amount. I believe (and could be wrong!) that Marked is better than PAD for this strategy, because of the higher trash cost and lower rez cost. DBS is hard to compare to the other two, but I would suppose it is also more useful than PAD.

The only thing PAD does better than Marked is fake an Agenda/SanSan for a turn. (And yeah, I'll totally install TGTBT by itself and leave it there.) That is, if I want money from Marked, I have to make sure the runner knows it's there, which I don't have to do with PAD.

However, I notice that a few other NEH decks are cutting the Marked, so I'm interested in the counter-argument, if you would be so kind. :)
