Hacktivist MaxX

unitled 468

A fairly 'standard' Keyhole MaxX deck, based on the Berkeley SC winner.

It's best played 'balls-to-the-wall, full on tagging, burn the corp down and don't give them a chance to find their feet' style. Live for the moment and keep the pressure up as much as you can. Probably 80% of the time it will work all the time. The remainder of the time you'll be a greasy smear on the pavement.

I prefer the extra money of Armitage here (even when you're tagged it often serves to waste a click and 2 creds of the corps money, or you can play it like Day Job and take 7 creds for a turn).

I've also experimented with Joshua B., and while I love the extra click it gives you (especially in conjunction with Wanton Destruction), a savvy corp will just kill that guy as soon as they see it.

So, I'm using that slot for Hacktivist Meeting. It synergises so well with the rest of the deck, punishing the corp for using asset economy (which upsets your 'siphon all their money plan'), random trashes can hit agendas which you can fish out with Hades Shard (and even punishes the corp when they want to use Jackson to retrieve cards!) and it can hit nasty operations in the corps HQ as well (Scorched Earth and Biotic Labour spring to mind).

On top of all that, it's a current you can use to counter something like an ELP.

Great to see you riffing on the deck. Thought you might like to see I just revised my original list: netrunnerdb.com

Hacktivist is a really strong include - I like that. ugh, deckspace.
