Awakening the Jank

Snake Eyes 4639

Janky "for fun" deck to get a discount of up to 12 credits off of big Bioroid ICE on a Breaker Bay Grid + Awakening Centre server. Breaker Bay Gridbreaker reads that it gives a discount of 5 to rez cards inside it's server. Awakening Center is the only way you can get ICE inside of the server rather than protecting it. With these two pieces out, you can hard rez a.Janus 1.0 for 3 credits, or a Heimdall 2.0 for free. Caprice and Ash to lock down the scoring server.

Looks like fun. Have you considered The Foundry with your Awakening/Grid combo? Since you will be trashing a lot of ice, that could help replenish your supply. Also, Archived Memories and/or Reclamation Order could help replenish your supply.

You don't actually have Breaker Bay Grid in the decklist. Is that what cards 48 & 49 are meant to be?

Check your settings @Guv_bubbs. I think you might have the Breaker Bay datapack turned off. There are definitely 2x Breaker Bay Grids in this 49 card deck!

@Snake Eyesthat did it!

@ila I have, but I just like the money that EtF gets more in this build. Archived Memories is not a bad call - but I'm using Interns for that slot to do pretty much the same thing.

You don't think breaker bay grid does enough for economy to make foundry better? Doesn't look good for cybernetics division and brain damage with this trend. I would suggest going for more successful demonstrations, if you're going to go at all, getting one at the end of the game sucks. Another breaker bay grid or off the grid instead of inazuma, and janking up the jank with turing. and some lotus field or something. Then again, I know how much you love inazuma and bioroids.

netrunnerdb.com I have done this already, cause I am inspired by you, and want to further the jank.

@cmcadvanced! What's up bro? I don't have home Internet for a little while here so my online play has been kneecapped.

Inazuma and Bioroids is one of my favourite "easy" combos in the game.

For The Foundry - eh I guess the combo could be good so that you can refill your Awakening Center all the time. I just have to have a reeeaaaaaallly compelling argument to make me run an ID that doesn't come with so much guaranteed economy.

Another Breaker Bay Grid is probably a good idea for the deck - worse case it can rez an Eve Campaign for free.

I need to actually test this deck out on late night OCTGN.

I think there are some interesting ideas in your deck there - but you may have cranked that jank a little too high up there!

Wormhole is definitely a fun idea for any deck that runs Heimdall 2.0.

I've played with this deck a number of times now, and it's quite fun. It's great having a server with 3 or 4 upgrades installed. Having a remote with Breaker Bay Grid, Ash 2X3ZB9CY, Caprice Nisei, Awakening Center with a Janus 1.0 hosted, all behind several pieces of ice is simply impossible to penetrate. And it's delightful watching the running trying to get through all the ice and then be hit with possibly 4 brain damage off the Janus. If they get through it all, there's no way they'll have enough creds to get past Caprice and Ash.

Against an unaggressive runner who won't rush while getting set up, it's more successful.

Well, crick is probably the thing you'd take out first, and it's nice against people who face check with mimic where architect would leave you hanging, but I stand by my other choices, blacklist can win games, and three breaker bays makes that element more consistent. I do enjoy seeing these impossible decks win games.
