MaxX Ain't Hungry!

Wookiee 90

This is my second iteration of MaxX decks. The first was a pretty standard Keyhole/Eater deck, and it's fun, but it's being strongly expected.

This is a much more standard deck that is driven by the huge power of MaxX's ID ability.

Lots of recursion, obviously - 3 Deja Vu, 3 Same Old Things, 3 Clone Chips, Levy AR, Retrieval Run. The Deja Vus seem more impactful in a deck that's actually running virii too.

1 off Amped Up, because it seems like a card that you don't need all the time, but you're happy to have when you do.

1 of each Cutlery - I don't expect to be eating through everything, but for the occasional high cost Ice....

Inject is ideal for MaxX - it gives her more cards to play, and money for more cards to recur. I've Had Worse is either your protection or your draw, depending on what you need.

Wanton Destruction to disrupt plans, but not as the key focus. 2 are included so that it will hopefully be played from hand, to get the most clicks.

Spinal Modem and Cyberfeeder are one of my favorite Anarch hardware packages.

Liberated Account is a great income, though I'm considering Daily Casts for the reduced start up fee.

Breakers are a fairly standard set up. Corroder and Gordian as the usual set up. Mimic, Yog and Morning Star as fixed costs, backed up by Datasucker. D4v1d is the one off breaker to hit Wraparound, Curtain Wall (Ideally in Blue Sun), etc. Medium and Nerve Agent to retrieve and give you efficient access. Femme and Morning Star are the ideal targets for Retrieval Run, but can be played from hand if forced. I'd like to include a Faerie, but can't find the influence for it. Special Order is there for when you really need a breaker, but can't get it to the Heap. Paying 1c and 2 clicks (through Same Old Thing) as a tax hurts, but sometimes you'll just need it....

Thoughts are welcome!

This is a pretty damn awesome set up you got! :)

I've been mulling over a MaxX build myself, and it's nice to see some diversity...especially if it works in practice, heh.
