Bleeding Cyberware - v1.0

Bananifier 380

If it bleeds (pixels), it lives.

The meta is swarming with low-strenght ice (even Blue Sun plays stuff like enigmas, dataspikes, and hive). It seems like parasite recursion would handle this well, and the interaction with Collective Consciousness is interesting enough to try it out.

Chaos Theory feels like the rational choice to get instant parasite out of a personal workshop, with the built-in MU to sustain the weight of Collective Consciousness - and 40 cards with some draw power makes it reliable enough.

A few card choices

  • Stimhack: All day, everyday. Load your Personal Workshop, run on a remote and install your atmans/parasite on the fly.

  • Cyberfeeder is an addition to ensure that your Personal Workshop is always filled with something. Cyberfeeders are great to feed your Atmans on install and to clone chip your parasites, so it's never a waste.

  • Net Celebrity with a Datasucker installed is alright - you can load your sucker on archive without feeling bad about yourself (provided that you can use the Celebrity credit in your personal workshop).

  • I've been pleasantly surprised by Collective Consciousness: it's actually pretty good if you can install it turn 1-2 (which is usually the case in CT). I would love to add in a few scavenge in this deck, though. As is, I simply uninstall it in the late game to make room for Atmans.

  • A single Plascrete Carapace: I think that it is enough, with Utopia Shard as a support card. If they SEA source you, you can cross your fingers and trash Utopia Shard, hoping to snipe a Scorched Earth.

  • Diesel: I'm seriously considering removing them altogether to make room for one or two Same Old Thing, or more R&D pressure ( a single R&D Interface and a Same Old Thing, maybe. The fact is, I'm never sad to see a diesel, but I'd rather have something that put more pressure on the Corp.
