Haastile Infrastructure v1.1

tpsviper 252

These are some slight changes I made so lets call it v1.1 for now. :)

Changes: I dropped 2 ABT's for 2 more NAPD's. When playing horizontal you need to tax wherever you can. Since I'm not running as many 3/2's I dropped Hass Archology to 1. Alix and Eve were reluctantly dropped by 1 to fit in some hedge funds to help with early game set ups. I also dropped an architect for an Ichi 1.0 to tax just a bit more as I'm seeing a lot of mimics lately. Also made room for a solitary overwriter. Although I haven't had a situation where I have used it yet.

The rest of the deck is the same. I find the games are quicker now with the quick set up of the hedge funds. Tell me what you think and I would love to see your links to your versions of Haastile :)

Hey there! So, after playing your 1.0 a few more times after my tourney report 2 weeks ago, I found some more observations about the deck.

  1. I'm now comfortable playing Alix, and I have to admit, it is really good. Some people in my playgroup wasn't really fond of Alix, and seeing her there alongside 2-3 Hostile Infrastructures made them feel bad about not doing anything with it.

  2. I won some games, but lost some too, mainly because of two reasons: either I have a good draw with ice or none at all, or I have no way baiting some runners to my remotes since they have multi-access cards on the board already. I am considering putting Shattered Remains instead of Aggressive Secretary, but I don't know yet.

  3. Parasites. I hate them. My Rototurrets were the only ice I drew on my early game one time, and it didn't help at all when I started drawing 3 pointers without ice on my HQ. What do you think we should do against Parasite?

Looking at 1.1, I realized that if we really want to play janky cards, then we have to use the one card that will make 3 net damage so sweet and yet risky for the Runner. I am talking about Director Haas. I plan on replacing Arcology for this one. Install Haas, ice it up with something like Janus or Heimdall, and get the ball rolling with 4 clicks, so long as Hostile Infrastructures are there to accompany her. Now you can put down Melange and gain 7+1 creds on one single turn. You can score NAPD. You can rez Alix at start of your turn, install 3 times, and use the 4th click to gain 6 creds from her. All because of a well protected Momma Haas.

So, to summarize, my own version of 1.1 has 1 Diversified Portfolio instead of a Cerebral Overwriter, and a Director Haas instead of Arcology.

@tpsviper, please let me know what you think. People from my playgroup are starting to see the potential of this deck, and it really needs some more tweaking and streamlining. :)
