Midori's house of cards

Bananifier 380

[Update] Added 2xMerlin and had to remove an Aggressive Secretary and a Swordsman for that.

I saw a reddit comment on Midori and Grail ICEs, and had to build a deck around it.

Midori loves playing with :

Strategy Guide

  • The deck can kill: on a chum+kitsune, provided you have a snare or even a fetal AI in hand. Don't hesitate to activate it even if it does not kill if you feel that it gives you a scoring opportunity. Otherwise, just let the combo sit unrezzed.
  • Merlin's rez cost is quite high for this deck's economy. Try to keep it in your hand!
  • this build is a bit slow, don't hesitate to click for credits. You need to be threatening at all times.
  • Midori should go on R&D and/or HQ. You then have to score in a remote 2-3 ICE deep.
  • There is a lot of program trashing in the deck - which is another reason why you should try to stay relatively high in credits (around 10, at least). This way, you can use the scoring window created by trashing a breaker. When an archer connects, you know you'll be able to score!
  • the dedicated servers are a necessity as account siphon protection, and are also useful to fuel Midori's tricks.
  • If at all possible, try not to lose a Psi game on The Future Perfect. Don't hesitate to bet 2 if necessary.

Not many people dare to run an unprotected server against PE. It usually just sits there until the runner tries to get into HQ/R&D. You should not care too much about them, and a single ICE is usually enough to keep them (Himitsu Bako really shines there).

As I said in the description, you should try to have one unrezzed most of the time against Criminals, so that you can spend your money on them if they go for a Siphon.

Still, I have to admit that this may be the weakest card in the deck. Don't hesitate to suggest a replacement!
