Titan • Fast Investment (AtlasTrain)

Pyjam 523

A basic but quite efficient Atlas Train deck. I was too impatient to test some cards.

I've tried with SanSan City Grid but IMHO it works better with Trick of Light. The combination of advancable ices + Shipment from SanSan + Trick of Light works very well.

It's obviously very fast but with great protection thanks to Fire Wall and the awesome Wormhole.

Often, the limiting factor is the economy, so I added 1 Celebrity Gift to help the process. And Errand Boy is great on Archives against Security Testing : 2 or 3 for you and 3 for me. lol.

I'm not convince of the necessity of Fast Track but it has had its use sometimes.

High-Risk Investment with 2 counters is just insane. You're almost preying the runner to siphon you. lol.

I like the idea of Errand Boy on Archives.

You have anti-synergy with NAPD Contract and Hostile Takeover. A NAPD with an advancement requirement of 5 is still acceptable, but it's worth noting.

Rainbow seems out of place. I think you'd be better off with another copy of Caduceus or Ice Wall or something.

Seems like a very powerful deck, I'll probably try it out once O&C comes out.

I like the idea but you should add three more cards, I suggest Mark Yale, GRNDL Refinery, space camp maybe even the Board or the Root.

I love that is shits on the concept of NBN astro train .... now that shitty agenda won't be the only one :D

Mark Yale is good with Titan Transnational. 3xMark might go in easily, as you have only 46 cards. Just a thought!

Thanks for you comment.

NAPD is there only for it's defensive value. Hostile Takeover is really there only for the 7th point. I try not to score one before it's too late for the Runner. That said I'll try to swap them for Firmware Updates. This will require -1 Trick of Light, -1 Celebrity Gift, +2 SanSan.

I agree, the Rainbow seems out of place. Maybe a second Mother Goddess. The deck definitely needs a 3rd Ice Wall and maybe one less Errand Boy.

My problem with Mark Yale (or any other asset) is that Security Testing is so popular. And if I spend credits to protect a second remote, it will negate the effect of Mark Yale.

I'm not convinced this deck could work better with 3 more cards. Although, I think Space Camp deserves some consideration. It can work as a bait in the scoring server.

I just wanted to ask why you run more expansive Mother Goddess instead of second Rainbow, when it's effectively the same piece of ice and now I'm reading that you want to put two of that unique ice. I'm puzzled.

Mother Goddess and Rainbow are not the same thing. I have scored an agenda behind a Mother Goddess because it was the sole rezzed piece of ice and was unbreakable.

That said, in the last build, I've replaced the rainbow by a Wendigo because it's advancable.

Also, since you indicate that economy is a problem, you might try Shell Corporation? Since it is an upgrade, it can sit in the scoring server. And you can always use it to bait the runner into wasting credits to trash it.

I wrote it's effectively the same piece of ice and I stand by that. I am aware that in insignificant number of cases, when the runner plays poorly and puts no pressure on your central servers, it can make a difference, but that doesn't really justify a dead card slot in my opinion. Maybe if it really was unbreakable, but there is no such thing.

@Oisin : the problem is : there's often no scoring server, or only lightly defended as it served only to score the first Project Atlas.

Version 2 is on the road.
