Jinteki double Cursed, 1st Umbria Player tournament

federicolatini 78

The deck is a slight diversion of the second place world champion deck, it loose the scorched to make room for the 3rd jackson, 2 reversed accounts and a cerebral overwriter, the Ice composition is not that much different in the end. the whole point is let the runner be cursed if runs (cerebral, psychic, snares) and curse if he/she doesn't (reversed, agendas and ronins), that's why double Cursed. any question or suggestion are welcomed. for me is better -1 architect +1 cerebral overwriter. And i'll rearrange the agenda to make space for 1 or 2 whirpool

Architect was an MVP during the tournament, is taxing and very effective on rez, sure against this kind of deck the runner quickly goes to instal a killer but sometimes relies too heavly on parasiting everything, and there it goes Architect play it's role. A second overwriter set the ground for a double ronin kill even if it is accessed from rnd, the runner become scarier and stop running on advanced cards. I find both set up (architet and double overwriter) equally viable, lastly whirpool: i have always found it too conditional as a finisher, loosing the juicy one pointers for it doesn't seem fair to me, anyway if i'm missing some smart use of it please point it out.

yes you' re right, everybody have their own personal style to play jinteki :) i love to use celebrity gift(exposing only cards that cant kill the runner and an agenda+ ronin) then mushin no shin for cerebral overwriter(not showed) or i do the same thing showing the cerebral and then mushn no shin for an agenda, it s really funny to see the runner in that moment ;) for me whirpool is a must to take the runner directly in your sweet trap, but depends of your style.Anyway, good deck!
