Are You Sure?

Pretty dull really. It's just RP that tries to kill. But by the same token - winning by points is not only possible, but in many ways probable. It's still just stock Jinteki kill - but I think the neat little twist with both Targeted Marketing for control, and RSVP for agenda control give the deck a neat twist.

Win conditions for kills include Project Junebug / Cerebral Overwriter, Shinobi, Komainu > Neural EMP, in theory Tsurugi, and Philotic Entanglement - but the runner would have to be pretty sloppy to get killed by that.

You can play the Philotic Entanglement / House of Knives' as Snares (even though you don't run any) and play everything else as a Junebug. Obviously the Psychic Field also doubles as an agenda.

Now, the reason you don't play Mushin No Shin in this deck is for the simple reason that I want to install in a taxing server, and not a new one. I also don't want to do some janky Shipment from MirrorMorph splash - because then I'd need to have the cards in hand...and that's just annoying.

You generally want the Eli 1.0s on your scoring remote, or to protect a Sundew. People don't except as many barriers early in Jinteki - and in RP it's a big deal to catch people off guard - and can easily let you sneak out a 5/3.

Current Considerations

  • Less 5/Xs (Braintrust, Medical Breakthrough, Clone Retirement, Encrypted Portals etc) and turning it into blank installs. But the 5/3s are way more hilarious.
  • More asset economy. To be honest though, the Sundews under a Pup or something equally annoying generally keep them safe. That and the Celebrity Gifts keep you in enough cash. Quite frankly, with this deck, if you just have to take 3 credits for a turn - it's generally not too horrible.
  • Jackson Howard - just haven't found room. And yes, the RSVPs are hilariously huge - secures both The Future Perfect and Fetal AI as agendas - which is most of your points!
  • Encrypted Logins - an obviously synergy because the deck runs RP - but influence is tight enough and I don't want to cut RSVP...or anything really.
